Managed Care Financial Analyst at Hendrick Medical Center – Abilene, Texas

The Managed Care Financial Analyst supports the Finance Division by overseeing and analyzing payer performance to ensure fair and optimal reimbursement for Hendrick Health. This role is responsible for developing analytic models and reporting tools that support organizational strategies and decision-making by monitoring payment trends, supporting contract negotiations, and pursuing revenue integrity across both contracted and select non-contracted payors.

Minimum Education

• Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in Finance, Accounting, Health economics, or related field

Minimum Work Experience

• 1 to 3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis or healthcare revenue cycle.

Required Licenses/Certifications

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis techniques
• Strong skills in data visualization, forecasting, spreadsheet tools
• Ability to lead analytical projects and collaborate across departments
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Competence for reading and interpreting payor contract content
