Accounts Receivables Specialist in Olathe, Kansas at United Rotary Brush Inc

United Rotary Brush Corporation is an Olathe, KS based manufacturer of specialty industrial brushes for the airport, road constructions, street sweeping and plow industries. Our Olathe, KS manufacturing facility (1-35 & 56 Hwy) is looking for an Accounts Receivables Specialist.

The Accounts Receivables Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer receivable records and accounts, researching payment discrepancies and preparing accounts receivable reports.

Accounts Receivables Duties & Responsibilities

• Apply customer payments to customer accounts in an accurate, timely and efficient manner
• Research payments discrepancies on customer accounts as necessary
• Process credit card payments, credits and bank deposits
• Prepares A/R aging reports and review with management
• Assists with new customers setup and basic credit management processes
• Alert management to irregularities, customer payment trends and areas of concern
• Communicate verbal and in writing with numerous functional groups (billing, sales, accounting, operations, etc.) to provide payment, account and credit information
• Performs department filing and administrative duties as assigned
• Assists with month-end procedures and other duties as necessary.

Accounts Receivables Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Accounting required and 1 year experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• Minimum of one-year accounts receivable experience in an automated accounting system.
• Competency in Microsoft Office products required
• Infor Visual software experience preferred
