Global Social Media Manager
Role Overview
The Social Media Manager will lead the strategy, execution, and growth of Culture Kings’ global social ecosystem (including Culture Kings, 1P brands, and MNML). This role is responsible for delivering culturally relevant, social-first storytelling that drives brand awareness, engagement, and commerce. Working closely with the Global VP of Marketing and regional Brand Marketing Directors, this role will translate brand strategy, product launches, collaborations, and cultural moments into content that resonates globally—while ensuring strong local relevance across U.S. and ANZ markets. A key focus of this role is to define and maintain a consistent global brand voice, supported by clear social guidelines, governance, and scalable content frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
● Develop and execute the global social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok Shop, and emerging platforms
● Define and maintain a consistent global brand voice across all channels, including Culture Kings and 1P brands
● Build and manage monthly and quarterly content calendars aligned to campaigns, product drops, and commercial priorities
● Identify platform trends, audience behaviours, and growth opportunities across global and regional markets
● Establish and implement global social media guidelines, frameworks, and standards to ensure consistency across all channels
● Partner with regional teams (U.S. and ANZ) to balance global alignment with local relevance and cultural connectivity
Content & Campaign Execution
● Manage end-to-end publishing and execution of organic social content across all platforms
Translate campaigns, product launches, drops, collaborations, and cultural moments into social-first storytelling
● Develop and scale key content franchises and repeatable formats across platforms to drive consistency and engagement
● Brief and collaborate with creative, content, design, eCommerce, and brand teams to deliver high-quality content
● Ensure all content reflects brand tone, identity, and campaign objectives, while supporting commercial outcomes
● Coordinate global campaign rollouts while enabling regional adaptation and execution
Community & Cultural Engagement
● Oversee day-to-day community management and audience engagement across all channels
● Respond to comments, messages, and brand mentions in a timely and on-brand manner
● Foster community through UGC, creator content, and active engagement strategies
● Identify cultural moments, trends, and conversations the brand can authentically participate in
● Build brand loyalty by strengthening the connection between brand, creators, and community
Influencer, Creator & Partnerships
● Partner with influencer and brand marketing teams to amplify campaigns through creators and tastemakers
● Support the development of a scalable global creator ecosystem
● Coordinate and optimise creator content usage across owned social channels
● Activate creators around product drops, collaborations, events, and key cultural moments
Social Commerce & Channel Growth
● Support the growth of TikTok Shop and social commerce initiatives through shoppable and creator-led content
● Experiment with live selling, short-form commerce, and emerging platform features
● Align with eCommerce and performance teams to ensure content drives traffic and conversion
● Identify opportunities to expand Culture Kings’ presence across new platforms and digital channels
Retail & Experiential Amplification
● Amplify store launches, pop-ups, events, and community activations across social platforms
● Capture and distribute content that brings the in-store experience to life digitally
● Integrate retail storytelling into the broader global content ecosystem
Analytics & Performance
● Track and report on channel growth, reach, engagement, traffic, and conversion metrics
● Provide insights and recommendations to improve content performance and channel strategy
● Use data to optimise posting cadence, content formats, and platform approach
●Monitor global and regional performance trends to inform ongoing strategy
Leadership & Operations
● Manage external agencies, freelancers, creators, and/or junior team members
● Ensure strong social governance, approvals, brand safety, and platform best practices
● Drive consistency through clear processes, workflows, and reporting cadence
● Act as a key connector across global and regional teams to ensure alignment and execution quality

The pay range for this role is:
100,000 - 115,000 USD per year(Costa Mesa, CA)
