Job Description

About the Role:

The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of the company within the United States market. This position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and managing key accounts to maximize sales revenue. The successful candidate will develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company’s objectives and market dynamics, with a focus in developing business with major retailers and DTC brands. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize sales territories and enhance inside sales efforts. Ultimately, this role aims to strengthen the company’s market presence and achieve sustainable revenue growth through effective relationship development and strategic sales initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the nutraceutical or cosmetic industries. Ideally 5-8 years of experience or more.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic partnerships and manage key accounts effectively.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, territory management, and inside sales techniques.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Experience working within a national sales organization in the United States.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales revenue targets.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex sales cycles.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s customer base and market share.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and strategic partners to foster long-term collaboration.
