Requirements:The Salesforce Administrator supports the Commence commercial growth team by owning the configuration, maintenance, and integration of our Salesforce Sales Cloud instance. This entry-to-mid-level role ensures the CRM and outbound technology stack operate as a cohesive system that enables the sales team to prospect, manage pipeline, and close deals without administrative friction.
This position will work directly with sales enablement, account executives, and SDR to build and maintain automated workflows, data integrations, and reporting infrastructure that keeps outbound pipeline generation running. Beyond core CRM responsibilities, this role also supports front-end pipeline activity through targeted account research and market analysis helping the sales team move faster with better intelligence. The right candidate is hands-on, self-directed, and understands how a sales floor actually uses a CRM.
CRM Administration & Configuration
- Maintain and optimize the existing Salesforce Sales Cloud instance, including core modules and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce Engage, to support a high-output commercial team
- Configure and manage lead routing, workflow rules, validation rules, and process automations that drive outbound prospecting and pipeline management
- Evaluate and implement additional Salesforce modules and features that improve sales team efficiency as the commercial operation scales
- Manage user administration including profiles, roles, permission sets, and access controls
- Document configurations, customizations, and workflows to ensure operational continuity and reduce institutional knowledge risk
Outbound Stack Integration
- Own the integration between Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and Mailchimp building and maintaining data flows that support automated outbound sequencing and lead enrichment
- Troubleshoot integration issues across the outbound technology stack and coordinate with vendors to resolve them
- Support data quality, list hygiene, and enrichment workflows to ensure the sales team is always working from accurate, current prospect data
Reporting & Sales Team Support
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards that give the commercial team real-time visibility into pipeline health, outbound activity, and rep performance
- Partner with sales enablement to align CRM configuration with campaign execution and enablement initiatives
- Support team members on Salesforce usage, data entry standards, and system updates as needed
Pipeline Research & Analysis
- Support front-end pipeline activity by conducting targeted account research using ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and other available tools to identify and profile prospects within Commence's target markets
- Assist the SDR and account executives with account prioritization, contact identification, and organizational mapping for key prospect accounts
- Compile market and competitive intelligence summaries that help the sales team tailor outreach and sharpen positioning ahead of initial conversations
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Salesforce administration experience within a commercial B2B or technology sales organization
- Hands-on experience supporting outbound sales or SDR teams and practical understanding of how the sales floor uses the CRM day to day
- Experience connecting Salesforce to third-party platforms, including marketing automation and data enrichment tools
- Comfortable operating independently in a small, fast-moving team environment with limited IT support infrastructure
- Strong attention to detail with a consistent bias toward documentation and process clarity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201); candidates actively working toward certification will be considered
- Direct integration experience with ZoomInfo and/or Mailchimp within a Salesforce environment
- Experience conducting account research and prospect analysis in support of an outbound sales team
- Familiarity with healthcare technology, health IT, or a B2B regulated industry
