This is an exciting opportunity for a relationship-driven professional to lead strategic partnership growth within the fast-evolving payments and fintech space. In this role, you will be responsible for building and expanding a network of referral and reseller partners that drive revenue growth and market expansion. You will collaborate with internal sales teams, external stakeholders, and industry partners to create scalable partnership strategies and deliver high-value business opportunities. The position combines business development, sales strategy, and relationship management in a dynamic remote-first environment. Accountabilities:
  • Identify, recruit, onboard, and manage strategic referral and reseller partners including ISVs, agents, banks, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute partner growth strategies designed to expand pipeline opportunities and achieve sales performance targets.
  • Build and maintain strong partner relationships by serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for ongoing collaboration and support.
  • Conduct contract negotiations and manage partnership agreements to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to promote partnership programs and ensure seamless lead generation and partner engagement processes.
  • Implement and optimize systems, workflows, and procedures that streamline partner management and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor sales pipeline activity, forecasts, and partner performance metrics using Salesforce and other reporting tools.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, product seminars, sales meetings, and trade shows to strengthen brand visibility and expand partnership opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fintech or payments partnership development.
  • At least 2 years of direct experience within the payments industry.
  • Strong consultative sales and business development capabilities with a proven track record of driving partner growth.
  • Solid understanding of reseller and referral partnership structures and relationship management practices.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Self-motivated, assertive, and results-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce for pipeline tracking and forecasting.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed for partner and industry engagements.
