When customers walk in after an accident, they’re already stressed out. The person at the front desk sets the tone. This means staying organized, communicating clearly, handling pressure well, and helping keep the entire repair process moving.
Kaizen Collision Center in Lompoc is looking for someone who can help keep a busy shop running smoothly.
This is a fast-paced environment with steady work coming through Lompoc, Santa Maria, Vandenberg Village, Buellton, and the Central Coast. We’re looking for someone dependable, professional, and able to keep things moving without constant supervision.
We’re focused on doing repairs the right way — OEM procedures, strong communication, teamwork, and building a shop customers can trust.
Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is one of the most important roles in the shop. You’re the first impression, the steady communication throughout the repair, and the person helping keep the front office moving.
This is a front-facing role in a busy collision repair environment. You’ll work directly with customers, insurance partners, rental companies, and the production team to help keep repairs moving smoothly.
What You’ll Do
Customer Experience
• Greet customers in person and over the phone
• Help customers understand the repair and insurance process
• Keep communication clear, professional, and consistent
• Help create a positive experience during a stressful time
Vehicle Intake & Documentation
• Assist with vehicle check-in
• Document vehicle damage and take photos
• Maintain accurate files and repair documentation
• Support insurance and partner requirements
Administrative Support
• Collect payments and process transactions
• Update rental systems (ARMS)
• Assist management with reports and paperwork
• Help with accounts receivable follow-up
• Support daily front office operations as needed

Requirements
• Valid driver’s license
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to pass a background check

• Collision repair or automotive industry experience
