OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-time Supply Chain Analyst - Supplier Contracts & Administration, you will be a strategic link between the Supply Chain Department and the rest of the company by impacting how Fastenal manages product flow both domestically and internationally. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Administering and maintaining contract documentation between Fastenal and external partners, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely execution
o Supporting and participating in supplier contract review and negotiation processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders
o Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies and controls related to contract administration and associated workflows
o Collaborating closely with Product Development, Operations, Sales, Logistics and other corporate teams to ensure alignment between contracts, supply strategies and business objectives
o Analyzing and deriving meaningful summaries from large data sets
o Driving improved cross-functional coordination by sharing insights, aligning priorities and supporting scalable solutions across the organization

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Prior administrative, customer service, or clerical experience OR industry experience and product knowledge
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
o Work independently as well as in a team environment
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Possess or are working towards a degree in one of the following areas: Math, Statistics, Data Science, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance or a related Business field

COMPENSATION:
The base pay range for this position is $38,000 - 50,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
