Job Summary
This position is responsible for receiving materials, goods and parts to support manufacturing operations. Responsible for related documentation, record keeping and inventory accuracy. Coordinates internal storage and distribution of received items.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Check in, verify, distribute, and store all UPS, FedEx and other small deliveries.
- Count, balance, verify, audit, rotate the stock and direct all non-bulk ingredient movements/storage.
- Count, balance, verify, audit, rotate the stock and store the drums of cleaning chemicals.
- Ensure SDS records are current, verify COA’s and maintain ingredient inventory records.
- Assist with inventory audits.
- Assist with the training on ingredient handling and storage.
- Make copies of bills of lading, filing, gather certificates of origin and verify packing lists/seals.
- Ship chemicals/ingredients as requested.
- Support policies to stay within internal, Federal, State and local regulations.
- Work with supply chain on inbound raw material and planning.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma and 2+ years relevant work experience in shipping, receiving and inventory in a manufacturing environment.
- Team oriented.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills required. Experience with WMS preferred.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs.
