About the Role
Pharmacy Technician
The Pharmacy Technician supports our pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate, and high-quality patient care. This role works closely with pharmacists to prepare medications, assist patients and ensure smooth day-to-day pharmacy operations. This role is best fit for individuals who have great attention to detail and are passionate about the well-being of others.
Core Responsibilities
· Receive, process, and prepare prescription orders (including counting, measuring, labeling, and mixing medications as appropriate)
· Verify prescription and patient information for accuracy and completeness
· Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications under pharmacist supervision
· Maintain accurate patient profiles and medication records
· Assist patients with questions, provide pricing information, and direct clinical inquiries to the pharmacist
· Ensure proper storage, handling, and security of medications in compliance with safety standards
· Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
· Manage prescription intake via phone, electronic systems, and in-person requests
· Support inventory management, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and monitoring medication levels and expirations
· Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment
· Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing prescriptions, and processing unclaimed medications
· Provide general customer service by assisting with store inquiries and locating products
· Performs other duties as assigned
Why You’re the Best Fit
· High School Diploma or GED required
· One (1) year of prior pharmacy experience is preferred but not required
· Valid and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician certification is required in the state(s) of practice
· Registered and in good standing with the applicable Board of Pharmacy
· Commitment to safety, compliance, and patient care
· Ability to navigate computer and systems
· Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Excellent customer service and communication skills
Work Environment
· Type: Full-time
· Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm
· Work Location: Onsite

Compensation
· Range: $20-$33
· Compensation is based on experience, location and role level
