Scheduler II, Imaging at Central Peninsula Hospital – Soldotna, Alaska

POSITION SUMMARY: The Imaging Scheduler II is responsible for coordinating and managing both routine and complex imaging exams at Central Peninsula Hospital, the Kenai Health Center, and Outpatient Imaging locations. This role requires independent judgment to navigate complex scheduling scenarios, including exams that involve multiple clinical teams or time-sensitive requests. The Scheduler II interacts with patients, providers, and staff across departments, serving as a departmental ambassador and demonstrating advanced customer service, professionalism, and collaboration.

All duties are carried out with a strong emphasis on customer service, effective communication, and problem-solving. The Imaging Scheduler II performs responsibilities in accordance with Central Peninsula Hospital’s core values, established policies and procedures, and applicable regulatory standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 3 years of general clerical experience in an acute care setting — including 1 year of experience at CPH
