Vehicle Acquisition Specialist at Ingersoll Auto of Danbury – Danbury, Connecticut

Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated team members to join our Vehicle Acquisition Department. This role involves guest-facing interactions, vehicle appraisals, and purchase negotiations. Candidates will be provided with full training and hands-on experience to build a strong foundation in the automotive industry.

• Contact warm leads to schedule vehicle appraisal appointments
• Appraise vehicles for purchase
• Present and negotiate purchase opportunities with guests
• Follow up with guests who did not sell their vehicle
• Complete purchase documentation accurately

Training Provided:

• CRM system usage
• Appraisal tools
• Guest communication and interaction skills
• Industry knowledge and processes

Qualifications:

• Preferred Experience (not required):
  • Automotive industry background
  • Reception or customer service experience
  • Business Development Center (BDC) experience
• Strong communication skills (phone, text, email)
• Punctuality and reliability
• Professional guest interaction skills in person
• High attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes
• Positive energy and enthusiasm in all guest interactions

Compensation & Benefits:

• Annual pay range: $50,000 – $70,000 (hourly base + performance bonus)
