Sales Receptionist P/T (Evening and Weekends) in Huntington, New York at Mercedes-Benz of Huntington

Mercedes-Benz of Huntington seeks a Front Desk Sales Receptionist with excellent customer service skills and a winning attitude. This is a part-time position working 3 evenings (5-8pm); Saturday (9-6), and Sunday (11-4)

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all customers with a friendly attitude and uncover their needs.
• Answer phones, direct consumers to the proper department, and follow up promptly.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution
• Operate the switchboard telephone system
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, striving to minimize the length of time customers spend on hold
• Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed

• Be friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient when working with all customers and employees.
• Familiarize yourself with department structures & internal procedures for assisting customers efficiently.
• Experience as a receptionist and/or in customer service is preferred.
• Extra hours avaialble to cover additional shifts as needed.
