About the role

  • The Repair Coordinator is a highly interactive, client-facing role responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and timely completion of all repair services. This position serves as the main liaison between clients, the sales team, and the repair department. The ideal candidate delivers an exceptional service experience while maintaining high standards of communication, organization, and operational efficiency.

What you'll do

  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries in person, by phone, or by email regarding repair services and custom work.
  • Provide clear and timely updates on repair statuses, costs, and timelines.
  • Address client concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues when appropriate to ensure resolution.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to deliver a seamless and personalized client experience.
  • Quality control and approve all repairs to ensure they meet CD Peacock’s standards of excellence.
  • Ensure all repairs are performed correctly and completed on time.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all repair jobs, due dates, and client communications.
  • Contact clients proactively regarding job updates, estimated completion, and pickups.
  • Run weekly repair reports, verify job statuses, and take appropriate action on overdue or delayed jobs.
  • Coordinate market pickups and shipping needs related to repairs.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the repair department and sales associates.
  • Keep the sales team informed about repair and custom order deadlines.
  • Contribute to store operations including opening/closing procedures and administrative support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience handling jewelry repairs or working in a service-focused luxury environment.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills (verbal, written, and phone).
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficient in computer systems and able to quickly learn new tools.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and solution-focused with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work seated or standing for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Must be able to work 4 days during the week and Saturday or Sunday

The pay range for this role is:
22 - 26 USD per hour(Oakbrook Center)
