Supervisor, I&C Engineering at Paragon Energy Solutions – Fort Worth, Texas

Paragon is seeking a Supervisor of I&C Engineering to join our team! The Engineering Supervisor serves as the bridge between Lead Engineers and Engineering Managers. This role provides both technical and people leadership within an engineering group. The Supervisor performs all the responsibilities of a Lead Engineer while also assuming ownership for the performance, development, and engagement of assigned direct reports through structured oversight and one-on-one meetings. This position represents a key progression step for individuals demonstrating readiness for greater leadership responsibility but not yet at the full managerial level.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience
• Demonstrates strong organizational and prioritization skills across multiple concurrent projects.
• Anticipates challenges, communicates proactively, and resolves issues efficiently within their area of responsibility.
• Models accountability, professionalism, and high-quality technical execution.
• Ensures consistent adherence to Paragon processes, quality expectations, and procedural standards.
• Provides timely feedback, coaching, and recognition to team members.
• Acts as a trusted extension of the Engineering Manager, representing leadership to the engineering team.
• Encourages collaboration, professional growth, and team cohesion.
• Provides input to management on performance trends, staffing needs, and process improvement opportunities.
• Fosters a culture of ownership, communication, and excellence within the engineering group.
• Recognized internally as a strong leader-in-development capable of assuming future managerial responsibilities.
