About This Position

Join the Park Opportunity Garden

At Park, we believe a world-class landscape starts from the ground up—and that includes our team. We don’t just offer jobs; we provide a fertile space where you can plant your ambitions and watch them bloom. Our culture is built on a simple philosophy: When we invest in you, you invest in us.

The "Opportunity Garden" Framework

We’ve designed our employee experience around three core pillars to ensure you don’t just work—you flourish:

  • NURTURE: We Get It – We provide a supportive environment built on Integrity & Trust. Your wellbeing is our priority; we focus on Working Safe & Working Smart to create a frictionless environment with the tools you need to succeed without the burnout.

  • GROW: Building Capacity – We don’t leave your career to chance. Through our Employee Success initiative, we provide intentional growth plans, training, and resources to expand your skillset. If you have the ambition, we provide the ladder.

  • THRIVE: You Want It – This is where your "Can-Do" Attitude meets Empowerment. We trust you to be a problem-solver with the autonomy to tackle challenges head-on. We take pride in the tangible "before and after" of our labor.

The Role: Fleet & Equipment Coordinator

While we provide the environment, we need you to provide the operational engine. In this role, you are the central navigator of our fleet and equipment assets. You will partner with the Fleet & Facilities Manager to remove friction from our shop operations, ensuring our mechanics are focused on the wrench while you manage the workflow, parts, and logistics that keep our Edmonton and Calgary teams moving.

Your Daily Impact:

  • Mechanic Support & Parts Mastery: You are the primary point of contact for our shop team. You’ll source specialized parts for everything from heavy-duty excavators to fleet trucks, coordinating "hot-shot" deliveries for urgent repairs and ensuring common wear items (filters, fluids, cutting edges) are ready before the mechanic even opens the hood.

  • Operational Air Traffic Control: Coordinate and maintain maintenance schedules across multiple shops. You align the needs of the field with the capacity of the shop, ensuring equipment status and timelines are communicated clearly to our operations teams.

  • Systems & Compliance Ownership: Serve as the "Power User" for our fleet management system (Fleetio). You own the integrity of our data—from work orders and meter readings to registrations, insurance, and audit-ready compliance records.

  • Vendor & Cost Coordination: Act as the primary bridge between Park and our external partners. You’ll source quotes, track outsourced repairs, and verify invoices to ensure our $40M operation stays lean and efficient.

The Essentials for Growth (KSAs)

To truly thrive in this role, you’ll need a solid foundation of organizational skill and a systems-driven mindset:

  • Knowledge: Minimum 2 years of experience in fleet, construction, or equipment-heavy environments. You know what a skid steer needs to stay running and understand the urgency of a "down" machine in peak season.

  • Skills: High proficiency in CMMS (Fleetio) and Microsoft Excel. You have the "logistics IQ" to hunt down rare parts and the foresight to anticipate upcoming maintenance needs.

  • Abilities: A "Can-Do" attitude that excels in a fast-paced shop environment. You have the communication skills to bridge the gap between mechanics, vendors, and field operations.

Ready to Branch Out? Your Future Starts Here

At Park, we don’t just hire—we plant the seeds for long-term success. If you’re looking for a workplace where your "Can-Do" attitude is rewarded with real opportunity, you’ve found it.

When you join our garden, you’re gaining:

  • Visible Career Paths: Clear milestones for advancement and raises.

  • Innovative Tools: Latest technology to make your job smoother, smarter, and safer.

  • Impactful Work: Pride in the physical transformation of our community.

  • A Culture of Respect: A high-trust environment where your voice is heard.

Park is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive "Opportunity Garden" for all employees.
