Executive Director at Bethany Community Services Inc – Groveland, Massachusetts

Bethany Communities is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Executive Director to lead Nichols Village, a retirement community committed to compassion, dignity, and excellence. This position serves as the senior on-site leader, overseeing daily operations, resident experience, staff leadership, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide overall leadership and operational oversight of the retirement community

· Lead and support department teams including marketing, wellness, dining, maintenance/housekeeping, and community life

· Oversee marketing and admissions to maintain strong occupancy and waitlist levels

· Ensure high-quality resident experience through responsive communication and conflict resolution

· Manage budgets, approve expenditures, and prepare reports for senior leadership and the Board

· Participate in Board, finance committee, and resident council meetings

· Ensure facilities are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with applicable standards

· Serve as on-call leadership support for emergencies as needed

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Management, or related field preferred)

· Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in senior living, property management, or similar setting

· Prior Executive Director experience preferred

· Proven supervisory and team leadership skills

· Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management or senior living software
