Service Technician at Anderson Air – Springdale, Arkansas

Purpose:

The Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations. This role ensures equipment operates efficiently and safely while providing high quality service and customer support. The Service Technician diagnoses problems, performs repairs, completes routine maintenance, and documents service work in Service Titan.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems at customer locations.
• Diagnose mechanical or electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment and technical documentation.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure reliable system operation and extend equipment life.
• Identify systems that may require replacement and refer those opportunities to a Comfort Advisor when appropriate.
• Communicate clearly with customers about system conditions, service performed, and maintenance recommendations.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and wear proper company attire while on duty.
• Complete service reports, work orders, and documentation accurately.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in proper working condition.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in weekly training sessions to stay current on procedures, products, and service techniques.
• Respond to service calls in a timely and efficient manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Valid Driver’s License, clean driving record
• 2+ years' HVAC Service experience
• EPA Universal Certification
• HVAC Technical School (Preferred)

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials weighing up to 75 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, such as attics or crawl spaces.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights as required.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
