Description:

Purpose: The Repair Technician serves as a skilled service professional for Anderson Air, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential HVAC systems. This role ensures customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, identifying system issues, and recommending effective solutions for repair or replacement.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on residential HVAC systems
  • Troubleshoot system issues and determine appropriate solutions
  • Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding system conditions and repair options
  • Ensure all work complies with company standards and safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate service records, job notes, and parts usage
  • Keep company vehicle stocked, clean, and organized
  • Collaborate with dispatch and sales teams for scheduling and follow-up opportunities
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with HVAC technology and best practices
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends as needed

Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in HVAC service and repair preferred
  • EPA certification required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently in the field
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and diagnostics
  • Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (tools, equipment, parts)
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, attics, crawlspaces, and rooftops
  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity)
  • Ability to safely operate tools and equipment required for HVAC repair

Compensation:

  • $24/hour base pay
