About This Position
Our mission at Quandri is to transform insurance into a trusted and delightful experience using AI. We're doing this by delivering an AI operating system for North America's leading insurance agencies and brokerages.
What we doQuandri is transforming the insurance experience for policyholders across North America by providing AI to the industry's critical stakeholders — insurance agencies and brokerages. Insurance agents are the lifeblood of the insurance industry, and are where most Property & Casualty insurance is sold and serviced. Yet, there are forces making it harder than ever for them to operate; more consolidation, rising talent crisis, increasing complexity of insurance and the AI revolution are significant challenges for how agencies have typically operated.
This challenge is a massive opportunity to rethink how insurance agencies operate. Quandri is at the cutting edge of this change, delivering real transformation to the entire insurance experience one process at a time through the deep understanding of insurance workflows, systems and data paired with deep technical capabilities and proprietary models.
We're making insurance better for policyholders, while helping insurance brokerages deliver a better client service, grow faster, and harness AI so that they control the future of insurance distribution.
We are moving fast and focused on customer impact. You will enjoy and be successful at Quandri if you:

About the RoleWe're looking for someone to own the operational backbone of a fast-scaling AI company - and rebuild it with AI at the center.
Quandri is growing fast, and with that growth comes the need for someone who can bring structure without slowing things down. Contracts, compliance, spend approvals, internal workflows — these all need to be built right, and built once. At the same time, we believe every team at Quandri should be working in fundamentally AI-native ways, and that shift needs a champion who can drive it across the entire organization.
This role sits at the intersection of Finance, AI operations, and Legal. You'll report to the Head of Finance with a dotted line to the CEO, and you'll have direct access to both. You'll have real autonomy to define how this function works and the mandate to make it stick.
- Own business process design and enforcement — Build the operational scaffolding a scaling company needs. That means identifying where Quandri is running on tribal knowledge or duct tape (spend approvals, contract workflows, compliance tracking) and replacing it with systems that hold up at 2x the headcount.
- Drive AI adoption across the entire company — this is ~40% of the role. Identify workflows that should be AI-native, build the tools and shared resources (prompt libraries, memory bases, custom skills) to make it happen, and get every team actually using them
- Special Projects - Lead high-impact strategic projects that don't have a home yet, things like pricing analysis, vendor consolidation business cases, GTM efficiency deep dives, or operational model builds. These are the problems that sit between Finance, Product, and Ops where the answer isn't obvious and someone needs to go figure it out.
- Review and manage contracts and compliance (for now) — handle first-pass review on vendor agreements, customer redlines, and negotiations. Maintain SOC2 compliance without over-relying on external counsel. The expectation: within 6 months, you've built the AI-assisted workflows and playbooks that make 80% of this self-serve or automated, so you can shift that time toward higher-leverage work.
- Project manage cross-functional initiatives — take AI and ops projects from idea to shipped, working across operations, engineering, sales, and customer success.
- Build the change management muscle — getting people to adopt new processes and tools is harder than building them. You'll own the rollout, training, and follow-through that turns a new workflow from an announcement into a habit
- Be the connective tissue between legal, finance, and AI — you sit at the intersection of three functions that most companies silo. Connect them. Make the compliance review faster with AI. Make the AI rollout compliant from day one.
- Sharp critical thinking and analytical skills — you break problems down, find the root cause, and solve it. You don't just follow a process — you question whether the process should exist at all.
- An obsession with AI — you're not just "interested in AI." You're using it daily, building with it, pushing its limits. You have opinions about which tools work and which don't. You want to be the person who makes an entire company AI-native.
- Project management chops with real follow-through — you can run five workstreams simultaneously, keep stakeholders aligned, and actually ship. You don't just plan — you execute and close loops.
- Comfort reviewing legal documents — you've read contracts before, you understand what a redline is, and you can spot problematic terms without needing a lawyer to translate. You don't need to be a lawyer, but you need to be able to think critically about business implications when it matters.
- Resilience in ambiguity — you thrive when there's no playbook. You've worked in environments where you had to figure it out as you went, and you came out the other side with something that worked.
- Strong communication across levels — you can present a compliance framework to leadership, walk an engineer through a new AI workflow, and negotiate contract terms with a vendor in the same week.
- A builder's instinct — you'd rather create a function from nothing than inherit one. You see a gap and you fill it. You don't wait to be told what to do.
- Experience at a leading management consulting firm
- Startup experience
- Hands-on SOC2 compliance experience
- A JD or legal background
- Customers at the core. We put the customer at the center of all we do. At a basic level, we believe business success comes down to talking to customers and building something they want. We don't listen to customers and just take what they say blindly, but we think critically about it and build what they need. Customers are the core of everything we do, and our business exists to serve them. We prioritize their needs over all else within the company.
- Move with urgency. There are times when we need to move slowly and deliberately, but we default to acting fast and with urgency. We slow down when necessary, but this should be a deliberate choice. Businesses become more lethargic as they grow, this principle is designed to fight this fact.
- Be curious. We understand the world by being curious and asking why. We aren't satisfied with surface level understanding, and seek a deeper understanding of why things are the way they are. Don't take someone's word for it or the answer "because that's how we do it." Understand why and dig deep.
- Excellence in execution. We know that what separates good from great is a high level of execution. We commit ourselves to excellence in everything that we do, from delivering an amazing product to writing a great email.
- Act like an owner. We're all owners of the business and act like it. We follow through on commitments, own our results and think long-term.
- Fight for simplicity. The law of increasing functional information states that systems evolve to become more complex over time. At Quandri, we believe there is sophistication in simplicity; as such, we intentionally fight for streamlined solutions and are committed to the uncomplicated.
- AI-first. We believe AI is a fundamental shift in how work gets done, not just a tool we occasionally reach for. At Quandri, we lead with AI, in how we build our product, how we run our operations, and how we think about every process and workflow. This isn't about replacing people; it's about unlocking them to do higher-value work.
- Base salary of $100,000 - $140,000, dependent on level of experience

- Four weeks of paid vacation per year
- Work anywhere in the world for 60 calendar days of the year
