About the Role

As a Nursing Assistant, you’ll provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities while supporting residents’ physical comfort, emotional well-being, and dignity. You’ll work alongside nurses and care team members to deliver high-quality care guided by our Hillside values. This role is ideal for caregivers who want to build genuine relationships and be part of a supportive, team-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobilitySupport residents during meals and with hydrationProvide incontinence care with professionalism and respectSafely transfer residents using mechanical lifts and mobility equipment (training provided)Monitor residents’ condition and report changes to the nurse on dutyHelp maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environmentCommunicate clearly and compassionately with residents, families, and team members

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalentExperience working with seniors or in a caregiving role (senior living or memory care preferred)Ability to lift, move, and assist residents safely, including use of mechanical liftsAbility to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishComfort providing personal care, including incontinence careCompassionate, reliable, and team-oriented approach

Preferred Qualifications

CNA certificationExperience in Assisted Living or Memory CareCollege Courses related to Geriatrics

Schedule Options

Assisted Living ~ 8hr shifts

Day Shifts available (6am-2pm)Afternoon / Evening Shifts available (2pm-10pm)Midnight Shifts available (10pm-6am)Consistent 'set weekly' scheduling available

Memory Care ~ 12hr shifts

6am-6pm available6pm-6am available
