Service Technician - Automotive at South Dayton Toyota – Miamisburg, Ohio

Compensation:

• $22.00 to $26.00 Per Flat Rate Hour (experience-based)
• PotentialQuarterly Cash Bonus Earnings!

Work Schedule:

• 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday - Friday
• 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM Saturdays (Revolving)

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Conduct basic inspections and identify vehicle service needs
• Replace worn or defective parts such as brake pads, filters, and belts
• Assist senior technicians with more complex repairs and diagnostics
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines
• Ensure work area is clean and organized
• Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle status

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of automotive repair experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior technicians
• ASE certification is a plus, but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
