Controls Engineer at Spee-Dee Packaging Machinery – Sturtevant, Wisconsin

Spee-Dee Packaging Machinery is a leading manufacturer of packaging equipment. We are seeking a Controls Engineer to design, program, and support PLC-based control systems for our industrial machinery.

• Program and support PLC and HMI systems for packaging machinery
• Work with Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs
• Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues during build, test, and startup
• Create and maintain AutoCAD Electrical drawings and schematics
• Support machine testing, commissioning, and limited field startups
• Collaborate with mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and service teams

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of PLC programming experience
• Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLC / HMI programming
• Strong electrical circuit troubleshooting skills
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical
• Industrial machinery or automation experience
• Ability to work onsite in Sturtevant, WI

• Packaging or material handling equipment experience
• Electrical system design background
• Startup and commissioning experience
