We are currently seeking an experienced:
AI ENABLEMENT SPECIALIST
JOB SUMMARY:
- Designs, develops, and delivers AI literacy training programs tailored to non-technical audiences including clinical staff, care coordinators, and administrative teams.
- Partners with the development team to collaboratively build, test, and iterate on prompts for AI agents and automated workflows, facilitating technical learning of AI processes across the team.
- Validates AI output for accuracy, completeness, and expected behavior, documenting results against defined prompt and use case requirements to ensure consistent and reliable performance.
- Documents clear, reproducible steps for AI output failures or inconsistencies to support efficient troubleshooting and resolution by the engineering team.
- Assists in determining root cause of AI output issues and collaborates with the engineering team to identify, validate, and document resolutions.
- Works within project management and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) to log, categorize, prioritize, and escalate AI output issues and prompt enhancements.
- Creates engaging learning materials, including guides, tip sheets, short-form videos, and workshop curricula, covering AI fundamentals, responsible use, and tool-specific instruction.
- Continuously reviews and receives feedback on AI usage at the company to coordinate improvements on training criteria and development objectives.
- Leads live training sessions and facilitates ongoing learning communities to build and sustain AI fluency across the organization.
- Assesses training effectiveness and iterates on program design based on feedback, adoption metrics, and evolving AI capabilities.
- Develops, maintains, and distributes a library of organization-specific prompts and prompt engineering guidelines for approved AI tools and use cases.
- Partners with department leads to identify high-value AI use cases and prototype effective prompt strategies that can be standardized across teams.
- Stays current on AI tool capabilities, including generative AI, documentation automation, and clinical decision support, and proactively surfaces opportunities for practical application.
- Educates staff on the risks of improper AI use, including data privacy, PHI exposure, and HIPAA considerations specific to post-acute settings.
- Collaborates with IT Security and Compliance teams to ensure training content reflects current organizational policy, regulatory requirements, and vendor agreements.
- Acts as a first line of guidance for staff questions regarding appropriate versus inappropriate AI use, escalating policy concerns as needed.
- Functions as an internal AI ambassador, fostering a culture of curiosity, responsible experimentation, and continuous learning.
- Supports change management efforts related to new AI tool rollouts by preparing staff communications, FAQs, and adoption resources.
- Maintains an internal knowledge base or intranet hub for AI resources, updates, and best practices.
- Communicates effectively with colleagues of varying technical sophistication across a rapidly growing enterprise.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field AND 3+ years of experience in training, instructional design, IT education, or a related enablement role.
- In the absence of formal education, an equivalent of 5+ years' relevant experience is acceptable.
- 2+ years of experience in instructional design, adult learning, or organizational development.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with generative AI (LLM-based) tools and prompt engineering principles.
- 1+ years of experience with HIPAA, data privacy requirements, and AI governance frameworks or responsible AI use policies relevant to healthcare environments.
- 1+ years of experience working in post-acute care, healthcare operations, or a similarly regulated industry, with some familiarity with related business operations including accounting, payroll, and HR processes and tools, preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in software quality assurance, user acceptance testing, or technical output validation preferred.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and written communication skills with the ability to make complex technical concepts accessible to non-technical audiences.
- Practical knowledge of generative AI platforms and prompt engineering techniques.
- Working knowledge of software testing methodologies and quality assurance principles as applied to AI output validation.
- Strong attention to detail for consistency and accuracy when evaluating AI-generated outputs against expected results and defined acceptance criteria.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and issue tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps preferred.
- Familiarity with AI security considerations including PHI exposure, prompt injection risks, and vendor data handling policies.
- Understanding of HIPAA technical and administrative safeguard requirements as they apply to AI tool usage.
- Ability to design and deliver adult learning programs that drive measurable behavior change.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives and stakeholder relationships simultaneously.
- Experience maintaining knowledge management resources such as Atlassian Confluence, or other wikis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, SharePoint).
- Demonstrates composure and sound judgment when navigating ambiguity or evolving organizational priorities.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
