Paralegal in San Antonio, Texas at University Health System- San Antonio

University Health is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal to support our Legal Services team. This role provides critical administrative and legal support to attorneys while ensuring efficient management of contracts, litigation matters, and departmental workflows in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

- Support attorneys with legal documentation, contracts, and case tracking
- Monitor deadlines, subpoenas, and legal proceedings to ensure timely follow-up
- Maintain and organize legal files including claims, litigation, and records
- Coordinate with internal departments and external counsel on legal matters
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and legal documentation
- Ensure strict confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

- Two years of college education, paralegal studies, or business school is required
- Bachelor’s degree in a management or law-related field is preferred
- Completion of a paralegal program is highly desirable
- Experience in a responsible legal secretarial or paralegal role is required
- Healthcare, hospital, or government experience is preferred
