Housekeeper- McLean, VA at The Calendar Group – McLean, Virginia

Our client is seeking a Housekeeper to support a private family in McLean, VA. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of a large, fully staffed residence. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced household environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping, including ongoing tidying and upkeep of the 11,000 sq. ft. residence
• Manage laundry, including washing, ironing, and steaming
• Maintain and implement organizational systems throughout the home
• Receive, open, and organize packages
• Collect and manage household mail
• Provide light meal preparation 1-2 times per week
• Assist with pet care for two dogs
• Travel to the secondary residence at the start of the summer to assist with unpacking, organizing, and setting up the home. Maintain the McLean residence during the summer months while the family is away.
• Execute deep cleaning projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a private household or similar role
• Strong housekeeping, laundry, and organizational skills
• Physically capable of lifting 40+ lbs.
• Comfortable working around and caring for large dogs
• Must be able to pass a background check and provide verifiable references

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, approximately 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week

Compensation

• $100,000–$110,000 per year
• Healthcare stipend provided
