The RN Manager oversees nursing operations across all practice locations, ensuring high-quality patient care, compliance with regulatory standards, and alignment with organizational goals. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership to support staff development, optimize workflows, and enhance patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for nursing teams across all practice sites.
- Ensure adherence to NYS RN scope of practice, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement nursing protocols, workflows, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor clinical performance metrics and patient care outcomes.
- Collaborate with providers, practice managers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Manage staffing schedules, coverage plans, and resource allocation for all practices.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing education and competency assessments.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations for nursing staff.
- Serve as a clinical resource and escalation point for complex patient care issues.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented work environment across all sites.

Required Key Skills and Qualifications
- Valid NYS Registered Nurse licensure and current CPR certification.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of outpatient workflows and multi-site operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Epic EMR (minimum 2 years required).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with quality improvement and compliance initiatives preferred.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; and hear. Occasionally the employee must stoop, bend, and lift or move up to 25 lbs. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
