About This Position
Miranda Construction is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support our project teams on commercial, retail, industrial, and institutional projects. This role provides technical and administrative support from project start through closeout, ensuring coordination, quality, and smooth project delivery. This position works closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to coordinate project activities, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure strong communication between the office, field teams, subcontractors, and clients.

- Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project coordination.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation in Procore.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and engineers for pricing, clarify scopes, and track progress.
- Track schedules, material procurement, and project progress.
- Develop and update regular progress reports.
- Support quality and safety efforts through site walks and documentation.
- Responsible for the communication, implementation and enforcement of Miranda’s safety program.
- Help with cost tracking, change orders, and monthly billing.
- Proposal assistance including quantity take-off(s), cost estimates and bid solicitation.
- Assist with scope review
- Attend weekly job-site meetings
- Work closely with superintendents to track progress, resolve issues, and support field operations.
- Help prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and project correspondence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 1–4 years of experience in commercial construction.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of construction documents, processes, and terminology.
- Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar) is a plus.
