JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Wellness Attendant
Department: Fitness & Tennis
Reports To: Fitness & Tennis Club Director
SUMMARY
The Wellness Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest experience across all wellness areas, including the Fitness Center, Movement Studio, Yoga Pavilion, Sport Court, Pilates studio, and Racquet facilities.
This role supports daily operations by preparing and maintaining facilities and corresponding public areas, assisting guests and members with amenities and reservations, and ensuring all wellness spaces reflect a pristine, luxury environment. The Wellness Attendant plays a key role in anticipating guest needs, enhancing comfort, and supporting a seamless wellness experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Maintain cleanliness, stocked amenities, and presentation of all wellness areas including:
· Fitness Center, Movement Studio, Pilates Studio, Sport Court, Yoga Pavilion,
· Tennis and Pickleball courts, patios, walkways, locker rooms, and pro shop
2. Perform routine cleaning including sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and waste removal
3. assist with deep cleaning projects
4. Anticipate and fulfill guest needs in all wellness environments
5. Assist with fitness concierge responsibilities, including managing phone inquiries, coordinating and scheduling fitness and wellness reservations, and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all wellness offerings,Assist guests with check-in for fitness classes, tennis, padel and pickleball reservations
6. Support instructors, trainers, and tennis professionals during classes and lessons
7. Help Ensure guest pass policies and reservation accuracy are upheld
8. Support inventory management including towel collection, recycling programs, and supply tracking
9. Communicate effectively with team members and leadership regarding operational needs
10. Follow all OSHA and MSDS rules and regulations.
11. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
12. Follow all resort policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
13. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
14. Ensure adherence to quality, expectations, and standards.
15. Actively participates in safety programs and abides by all injury reporting and safety behavior.
16. Participates in and supports hotel’s efforts towards community service, sustainability, and environmental initiatives.
17. Performs other duties as directed, developed, or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent
2. Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests, members, and staff
3. Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
5. Ability to learn quickly and work in fast paced position.
6. Ability to communicate in English with vendors, guests, and staff to their understanding.
Desirable:
- Prior 5 star or 5 diamond resort experience.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Infrequent local travel may be required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
1. Frequent or occasional need to perform the following physical activities: reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting, and climbing.
2. Frequent need to perform standing and walking activities related to inspecting property.
3. Constant need to perform the following physical activities: grasping, turning, bending, lifting and finger dexterity.
4. Occasional need to stand for long periods of time.
5. Lifting/carrying up to 40 lbs. frequently and 60 lbs. occasionally.
6. Vision requirements: constant need to view small print. Frequent need to see small
details and things clearly beyond arms’ reach.
7. Hearing requirements: constant need to speak on the telephone and/or two-way radio, respond to general public and converse with staff. Ability to hear fire alarms and emergency equipment.
