Fabrication Operator | 2nd Shift at APCT INC – Orange County, California

Scope:

A Fabrication Operator will perform all the duties related to fabricating Printed Circuit Boards into distinct parts/arrays from a production panel, including the start- up, set up, operation, preventive maintenance and produce a quality product.

Essential Job Function:

• Operate multiple CNC machines simultaneously to fabricate low tolerance patterns (rout, milling, bevel)
• Independently perform complex and standard machine set ups
• Load Fabrication programs
• Align production panels to tooling pins on Fabrication machine
• Visually and mechanically inspect panels
• Make required adjustments
• Operate chamfer, V-scoring machine and beveling machines
• Maintain a safe, neat and organized workplace
• Wear all mandatory PPE

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm.

Essential Qualifications, Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year experience working in a manufacturing environment is a must
• Able to work overtime, weekends as needed

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Computerized numerical control experience helpful
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
• Manual dexterity / steady hand required
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings
• Ability to use a scope, caliper and micrometer
• Attention to detail
• Good vision required
• Good math skills
• Computer skills (basic)
• Able to work in a team environment and willing to cross train

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift 25 pounds without straining
• Able to stand throughout the entire shift

Compensation/Benefits:

California Pay Range: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour USD | DOE

The actual compensation offered is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
