Description
Reporting to the South APAC 1 Sales Manager, this position will work closely with the Internal Sales and Technical Sales teams to drive the Company's overall Business Strategy. Develop and execute Sales Business Plans and Strategies to maximize revenue growth, increase market share, and position the company as a strategic supplier to key customers within the allocated region.
This will be an individual contributor role for someone who is self-motivated and driven, with the ability to help us grow our footprint in Thailand.
Responsibilities
• Manages customer activities within the defined region, works in conjunction with the Internal Sales Representatives to introduce Rochester Electronics’ products to customers, and to increase the customer portfolio in accordance with the agreed Business Development Plan.
• Identifies target customers, builds relationships, and develops strategies utilizing all available resources to grow the account base within the specified region.
• Lead generation, qualifying business opportunities, and business presentations.
• Responsible for accurate and timely forecasting of new business opportunities and revenue for the region
• Ensuring Salesforce is utilized and maintained daily.
• Provides effective communication and service to the customer base and effectively navigates internally to prioritize active business opportunities.
• Stay current with industry trends, competitive activity, and market conditions to inform business strategy.
• Manage relationships and sales opportunities through a CRM system like Salesforce.com.
• Travel within the assigned region will be expected at a minimum 50%
Qualifications
• Proven business development, sales & management experience in the electronic component/ semiconductor industry
• Experience developing a large territory whilst working from a virtual office
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others internally and externally
• Native or fluent in Mandarin & fluent in English. Any additional languages would be advantageous
• Strong relationship-building skills both internally and externally, and able to navigate and effectively manage business partners & suppliers successfully
• Proven background in developing relationships with key decision makers and influencers, including experience in closing complex deals with customers & partners
• Flexibility and multi-tasking, the ability to undertake several tasks at once and manage them efficiently
• Ability to solve problems by identifying the root cause and realizing/implementing solutions
• Ability to maintain focus with little or no supervision
• Passionate about business and willing to go the extra mile
• Positive attitude with the ability to engage and learn quickly
• Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (intermediate to advanced level required)
