Food Service Equipment SME / Construction QA in Fort Jackson, South Carolina at Sol Engineering Services Llc

SOL Engineering Services, LLC is seeking a (military) Food Service Equipment Subject Matter Expert / Construction QA Specialist to support DFAC MILCON and food service equipment projects at Fort Jackson, SC. This position provides independent QA and technical support and does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications for the Role

• USACE construction QA and contract administration experience
• RMS and construction documentation proficiency
• Strong written communication skills

Preferred

• Engineering degree (or 10+ years equivalent experience)
• OSHA 30‑hour
• EM 385‑1‑1 (required within 30 days)

Job Duties

• QA inspections of food service equipment installation and DFAC construction
• RMS Daily QARs and weekly DFAC status reporting
• Review of contractor QC reports, testing, and deficiencies
• Monitoring MEP systems testing related to kitchen equipment
• Submittal reviews (10% FIO, 100% GA)
• Change order, RFCP, and claims support
• Schedule (NAS) reviews and analysis
• Participation in inspections, safety reviews, and final acceptance
