**Sign-On Bonus** for Bilingual Applicants: $2,000 (Distributed in 4 parts: $500 after 30 days, $500 after 90 days, $500 after 150 days, and $500 after 210 days of employment)The bilingual bonus applies to client-facing positions and will be awarded upon successful completion of the language test.

The Health Technician I position is responsible for screening clients for potential medical and or mental health problems meeting 5150 criteria, withdrawal severity referring to definitive medical and or mental health care when appropriate. - Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in the State of California
- A.A. Degree or equivalent work experience
- Able to cover shifts which include overnights, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Experience working with clients dealing with alcohol and drug addiction/mental health.
- Able to work with diverse populations, cultures and people with co-occurring disorders and disabilities.
- Able to handle and de-escalate emergency situations.
- Comfortable and skilled in time management
- Ability to collaborate with the team internally and coordinate/collaborate with external partners including (but not limited to) case managers, psychiatrists, social workers, referral sources, medical care personnel, etc.
- Must show a demonstrated knowledge of computers; including but not limited to, data input, internet navigation, Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Word etc. Ability to write clear narrative reports and treatment notes.
- Valid California Driver's license and auto insurance, excellent driving record is a must.
- Current CPR/First aid/AED training
- Fingerprinting/Drug testing required at time of hire.
- Preferred: Bilingual Spanish
