The Valley Hunt Club is seeking a Cook. You will contribute to the success of the Valley Hunt Club by creating positive experiences for every member by ensuring consistent quality, cleanliness, and efficiency on the line while supporting the overall success of kitchen operations.

Essential job functions:

• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper storage and labeling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Ensure ingredients are fresh, properly rotated, and stored.
• Communicate low stock levels or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service.
• Support other stations or tasks as needed during peak periods.
• Follow directions from the Sous Chef and kitchen leadership team.
• Prepare dishes accurately and efficiently while maintaining consistent quality and presentation.
• Uphold all standards for food preparation, flavor profiles, and plate appearance.
• Minimize waste and support cost-control initiatives.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and teamwork.
• Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow detailed instructions and recipes.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and crouch.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs., including lifting overhead, pushing and pulling, and moving objects.

Working Conditions:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, hear, taste, and smell. The employee frequently is required to stand and use hands and fingers to handle and utilize objects, tools, and controls. Temperatures vary from refrigerated areas to hot kitchen environments.
