About This Position

Hiring Position: IQC Supervisor

Place of Job in the Organizational Structure: Reports to the Quality Manager / Quality Superintendent

Job Purpose:

The IQC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing incoming material quality management, laboratory testing, calibration module management, and power anomaly analysis. This role ensures that materials, production processes, and shipped products meet company quality standards, while maintaining accuracy and traceability of measuring instruments. The IQC Supervisor drives continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional coordination to maintain product quality and operational excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Incoming Quality control (20%):

  • Responsible for formulating incoming material quality control plans, organizing quality inspection work, analyzing, determining and promoting improvements in incoming material quality issues

Lab Management (20%):

  • Responsible for laboratory work arrangements, experimental abnormality feedback and analysis and improvement, to meet production test requirements (10%)
  • Supervise the operation of the inspection room and laboratory, including equipment maintenance, inspection, maintenance and laboratory safety and resource management, to ensure that the inspection room and laboratory operate smoothly and meet quality standards and regulatory requirements (10%)

Calibration module management (20%):

  • Responsible for the preparation, calibration, internal transfer and use management of the secondary calibration module of the base, and meet the CTM compliance of the level of the base calibration module (10%)
  • Assist in the analysis and resolution of power anomalies in the workshop (5%)
  • Responsible for equipment stability monitoring and optimization, ensuring power accuracy, responsible for periodic comparison with the calibration module of the Chinese calibration module center, reducing the difference between the calibration modules, and ensuring the accuracy of the test data (5%)

Outbound Management (5%):

  • Responsible for the construction and daily management of the OQC team, training of relevant personnel and handling of abnormal issues

Calibration management (10%):

  • Effectively control monitoring and measuring devices according to the instrument calibration operation specifications to ensure the measurement accuracy and traceability of measuring instruments

Report output (5%):

  • Review incoming material inspection and experimental abnormality reports, provide final judgment, ensure data accuracy, and provide a reliable basis for management decision-making

Subordinate Management (10%):

  • Organize the incoming material quality team to carry out work, guide and train subordinates, and establish a good working atmosphere and team spirit

Quality system management product certification audit (10%)

  • Cooperate with and support internal and external system and product audits, participate in quality system certification work, and ensure the compliance and effectiveness of IQC, laboratory, OQC, calibration, and calibration module

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality management, quality control, or related roles in manufacturing environments, preferably in solar, electronics, or high-tech industries.
  • Bilingual in Chinese and English required.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze production data, identify root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills, with experience working cross-functionally.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, especially during audits or inspections.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for audit purposes.

Work Environment:

  • Standard office environment with occasional visits to production areas where PPE (personal protective equipment) is required.
  • Regular working hours with occasional overtime during audits or key projects
