About This Position
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to manage a diverse portfolio of personal injury cases. In this role, you will work directly with clients to understand their needs, determine the best course of action, and advocate for their interests in meetings, hearings, and court. The ideal candidate combines strong legal research and analytical skills with trial experience and a commitment to achieving successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to evaluate the merits and details of their cases.
- Conduct legal research using statutes, case law, and other relevant resources to develop case strategy.
- Draft legal documents, including reports, contracts, and appeals.
- Represent clients in meetings, hearings, and trials.
- Advocate for clients effectively in all proceedings.
- Keep the Litigation Director informed of important developments in each case.
- Maintain accurate, confidential case records in the firm’s management system.
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and address discovery requests.
- Stay up to date with changes in legislation relevant to your practice.
Qualifications:
Licensed to practice law in Georgia.
Proven experience as a personal injury attorney.
Strong knowledge of legislation and case law relevant to your personal injury.
Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
Perceptive, meticulous, and attuned to human behavior.
Ability to perform under stress and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent organizational skills.
Spanish fluency is a plus.
