We are looking for amazing people to join our team. We have work that will sustain over the winter and longer. We are not looking for people on a contract or short-term basis. WHAT THIS JOB IS IN A SNAPSHOT

The Cleaning Crew Lead works closely with other SkipCo Leads/Employees, as well as Site Superintendents and General Superintendents to support day-to-day project operations. This role is dynamic and hands-on, requiring flexibility to perform a variety of tasks that may change daily. This person will be responsible for traveling to multiple job sites on a weekly or sometimes daily basis to drive cleaning tasks as needed. Key parts of this role are maintaining excellence in cleaning, is well organized, and maintains a safe work environment in collaboration with site leadership and subcontractors. We are looking for someone that is skilled from general cleaning to High-end finishing work. This person must also understand that if the work is slow, you may be utilized in other areas of the business to meet business needs. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Leading and maintain project site cleanliness, organization, and readiness for daily operations to include high-end finishing
  • Transport and handle materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites in a safe and efficient manner
  • Assign and monitor tasks to 3-5 crewmembers with minimal supervision and evolving to site needs
  • Accurately track and document daily assignments, contributing to clear communication and project progress reporting to upper management
  • Strong ability to be adaptable and multitask in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Maintain and clean shop tools and equipment
  • May assist with light demolition and general site teardown work

  • Strong communication skills; able to coordinate effectively with subcontractors and internal teams
  • Skilled in real-time problem solving and decision-making under pressure
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and multi-task individually and as a team
  • Hands-on experience cleaning for multiple different work environments
  • Consistently maintains a safety-first mindset, following site protocols and best practices
  • Shows up to work consistently and on time

WHAT SETS YOU ABOVE

  • 3+ years’ proven experience leading a cleaning crew
  • Deep understanding of what cleaning materials are needed for different types of application (Wood, Glass, Steel, Tile, etc.)
  • You are the subject matter expert on cleaning tools (Scrubber, Washers, Polishers, etc.)
  • Ability to maintain cleaning materials inventory using software
Requirements:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to work in an environment that requires a strong sense of physicality
  • Capable of standing and walking for extended periods in various job site environments
  • Physically able to climb ladders, bend, crouch, twist and access confined spaces as needed
  • Able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Willing and available to work off-hours, including nights and weekends, to meet project and client needs
