About This Position
Position Description:
Job Advertisement: Sadler Brothers Trucking and Leasing, a 95-year-old strong company, is seeking to add to our work family. Currently seeking a competent individual to fill an open US Mail Class A driver at our Cookeville/Crossville terminal. The driver in this position will be based in our Cookeville/Crossville, TN terminal, 34-hour resets will be at home.
Looking for qualified Class A CDL Drivers to haul US Mail & General Freight in the Middle TN area. Home daily. Terminal based in Nashville TN. We have flexible schedules available. We operate 24-hours 7 days a week.
DRIVER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years Class A CDL experience.
- No Preventable Accidents.
- Clean driving record.
- No felonies or misdemeanors.
- Pass USPS Background check.
- Registered with FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
- Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Operate company-owned/leased trucks for US Mail.
- Perform delivery, pickup, and relocation of US Mail.
- Provide exceptional customer service during operations.
- Adhere to FMCSA Regulations.
- Support operations by fulfilling assigned tasks.

Today we operate multiple US Mail contracts within the Midwest and Southeast regions. In addition to serving our customers with the US Postal Service we also serve customers across the automotive, manufacturing, food and beverage and healthcare markets.
Sadler Bros. drivers have 24-hour access to our staffed shop, bunk house, showers, and private bathrooms. No matter when our drivers need us, we're available. Sadler Bros. drivers have 24-hour access.
Requirements:
2 Years Minimum OTR Experience/ Class A License
No Accidents in the Previous 3 years
No at Fault Accidents in Previous 5 Years
No more than 2 moving violations in the previous 3 years.
No DUIs in the Previous 7 years
No Positive Drug Screens in the Previous 7 years
Must be able to meet background screening requirements from the US Postal Service
Equipment:
53-foot dry van trailer
2023 or newer automatic tractors.

Job Responsibilities:
Operate company-owned/leased trucks to facilitate the movement of US Mail operations and Freight operations.
Operate company-owned/leased trucks for the delivery, pickup, and relocation of US Mail.
Driver will be required to load and unload the mail off the trailer.
Perform required before, during, and after-operation inspections on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to shop personnel; clean equipment and required reports.
Provide outstanding customer service during the delivery and pickup operations of US Mail and Freight.
Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you.
Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
Perform all duties in conformance with appropriate safety and security standards.
