Facilities Technician (Entry Level) in Piedmont, South Carolina at Human Technologies, Inc

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or related technical training preferred

• Prior experience or knowledge in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems

• Familiarity with HVAC systems and preventative maintenance practices

• Ability to safely operate power and hand tools, forklifts, and manlifts

• Proficient with basic computer skills for documenting work orders and inspections

• Comfortable working independently or in team environments

• Willingness to work at heights and follow safety protocols

• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on non-production systems including HVAC and general facility systems

• Maintain and repair plant utilities, lighting, plumbing, breakrooms, restrooms, and grounds

• Assist contractors with building and repair projects

• Conduct regular facility inspections and document corrective actions

• Support maintenance projects and collaborate with other departments as needed

• Keep work areas organized and aligned with 5S standards

• Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for troubleshooting and repairs

• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management
