About the role

• Servers play a pivotal role in the guest experience at Ascension Coffee, providing genuine hospitable service in a warm environment.

What you'll do

• Greet all guests with genuine hospitality
• Take guest's drink and food orders
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner
• Suggest different drinks, appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and coffee
• Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience
• Confirm orders with the baristas, chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested
• Assist with setting and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties
• Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
• Strong customer service skills required
• Ability to utilize a restaurant POS software platform a plus
• Extensive training provided

Qualifications

• One year of high volume server experience.
