Location: Brantwood Nursing and Rehab, Oxford NC

$10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

Position Overview:

  • Assures the implementation of the established health care plan(s) for a specified number of clients as delegated and supervised by the Registered Nurse (RN).
    • Implementation is limited to the care of clients whose health status would be expected to change only over a period of days and weeks, rather than minutes and hours.
  • Administers medication according to the Brantwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center policies and procedures.
  • Effectively monitor the care of the patient and conduct audits to assure adequate care is administered by the CNA.
  • Position accountable for delivery of patient care under the direction of an RN.
  • Maintains professional knowledge and skills related to areas of practice; completes required educational classes, in-service and position updates.

Position Highlights:

  • Shift Differentials: $2.50 - $5.00 per hour
  • Sign On Bonus Eligible: $10,000 (Full-Time only)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Support the mission, vision and values of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Licensed in North Carolina as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Knowledgeable of the standards of the Department of Financial Services (DFS) and Federal Medicare and Medicaid regulations for long term care.
  • Must be able to work under the direction of an RN and follow written or verbal instructions effectively.
  • BLS Certification
