Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303
$20.76 - $31.15 an hour - Half-Time Various, 18 hours per week.
+$5.00/hour for night shifts, $2.50/hr for evening and weekend shifts.
Boulder Community Health is seeking a Pharmacy Tech 2 who fills and maintains the automated dispensing system, prepares drug orders, completes cart fills, compounds IVs, assists pharmacists and other pharmacy technicians as needed.

Qualifications
•High School diploma or equivalent preferred
•Pharmacy Technician national certification required
•Pharmacy Technician state certification (PHAT or PHAT–P) required
•Minimum 1-year hospital pharmacy technician experience required
Responsibilities
•Answers telephone and window.
•Fills medication orders.
•Understands automated dispensing system.
•Is able to work with automated reports.
•Is able to work all functions of automated dispensing system.
•Is able to load medications into the system.
•Is able to take care of narcotic dispensing in the system.
•Runs reports on system as needed.
•Prepares IVs using aseptic technique.
•Handles hazardous drugs and waste appropriately.
