REP, PATIENT ACCOUNT at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center – POMONA, California

Position Summary: Responsible for timely and accurate billing of all secondary payers that do not automatically cross over after Medicare, billing Medi-Cal as primary as appropriate for non-covered Medicare services, etc. Responsible for credit balances, ADR's, appeals, CIFs, moving money to patient side as applicable, timely follow up of accounts as per department protocol. May perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Two years billing and follow up experience, in a hospital setting; familiar with coding, medical terminology, CCI edits, UB04, etc.; familiar with Medicare billing guidelines, bulletins and billing edits; basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.

Preferred Qualifications: Diverse payor payment methodology.

Salary Range: $21.11 - $29.70 hourly. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
