JOB SUMMARY:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Learn to Play Programming, including Gear Fittings
• Continue to Play
• Hockey 101
• PE Takeovers at Elementary Schools
• Assisting with intermission skates at Mammoth games
• Coaching youth team practices
• Camps and Clinics
• 3v3 Tournament Staffing
• Protect the reputation of the company
• Exemplify the Utah Mammoth mission and values: transparent, all in, community obsessed, one team, and scrappy
• Accept other duties, as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years old
• May be required to possess a valid Utah driver’s license, pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) screening in accordance with company policy and insurance requirements, and to pass a drug test.
• We are looking for individuals who are engaging, professional, reliable, and motivated to go above and beyond
• Available to work flexible, non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, for home games, and various events in the community
• Knowledge of the game of hockey
• Must complete/or have already completed SafeSport – Core Training
• A desire to learn and work in the sports industry
• Strong communication skills
• Possess a professional manner while interacting with fans of all ages
• Must be detail-oriented and be able to focus on multiple tasks at once
• Must be able to work outside in various conditions (Heat, cold, rain, etc.)
• Previous promotional experience working with a professional or collegiate sports team

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.
• This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess.
• This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
• This person must be able to lift 75 lbs.
