Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in gymnastics and experience working with students of various ages and skill levels. As a Gymnastics Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching gymnastics skills, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive learning environment that encourages personal growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Implement engaging gymnastics lesson plans tailored to the skill levels of students.
• Instruct students in various gymnastics techniques, including tumbling, balance beam, uneven bars, and floor exercises.
• Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining a clean and organized training environment.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
• Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among students through group activities and exercises.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with gymnastics techniques and coaching strategies.

Skills

• Strong background in gymnastics or related sports such as cheerleading, martial arts (including Judo and Karate).
• Experience working with students in a coaching or instructional capacity.
• Excellent behavior management skills to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages.
• Ability to work with children in ratios of 1:8.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
• Previous experience in health clubs or similar environments is advantageous.

• Must be able to pass a background screening with USA Gymnastics.
• USAG Recreational coach certification.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Coaching gymnastics occurs when students are out of school.
