Director of Facilities Planning and Design at Berkshire Health Systems – Pittsfield, Massachusetts

The Healthcare Director of Facilities Planning & Design is responsible for ensuring that Berkshire Health System’s facilities continuously adapt to evolving services, operational needs, technology, regulatory requirements, and healthcare delivery models. This role leads strategic healthcare planning and establishes design standards across approximately 5,000,000 square feet of hospital, ambulatory, and administrative space spanning three hospitals and more than 60 locations throughout Berkshire County. Acting as the owner’s advocate, the Director ensures that all projects align with organizational strategy, meet budgetary and regulatory requirements, and uphold quality and performance standards.
