Position Overview

  • Collaborate with internal and external providers to ensure coordinated, community‑based care and continuity of services.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with regulatory, ethical, and agency standards.
  • Engage families and caregivers as active partners in treatment planning, goal development, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Support the development of emotional regulation, healthy relationships, and functional skills for children and youth with existing diagnoses.
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and interdisciplinary coordination to enhance service quality and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct licensed behavioral health evaluations to determine medical necessity and guide individualized treatment planning for children and youth.
  • Provide psychotherapy through individual, family, and group modalities using developmentally appropriate, evidence‑based interventions.
  • Deliver crisis intervention services, including telephone triage, off‑site response, and complex care follow‑up to support safety and stabilization.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments for young children (ages 0–5) when recommended by a licensed practitioner or when clinically indicated.
  • Identify service needs and recommend additional medically necessary supports based on assessment findings and ongoing clinical work.
  • Collaborate with internal and external providers to ensure coordinated, community‑based care and continuity of service.

Qualifications

Licensed Psychoanalyst, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Psychologist; or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) practicing under appropriate LCSW, psychologist, or psychiatrist supervision.

Demonstrated experience providing clinical assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention across individual, family, and group modalities.

Knowledge of child and adolescent development, including clinical work with children ages 0–5 when medically necessary.

Ability to determine medical necessity and recommend appropriate behavioral health services based on comprehensive evaluation.

Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams and external service providers to ensure coordinated care.

Competence in delivering flexible, community‑based treatment to support developmental functioning and healthy relationships.

Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills to support high‑quality clinical service delivery.

Ability to work independently while maintaining adherence to regulatory, ethical, and agency standards.
