Med-Care Providers is seeking a Clinical Quality & Outreach Coordinator (Lead Medical Assistant) to support clinical operations, improve quality of care, and assist with community outreach initiatives.

This leadership-level Medical Assistant role is responsible for supporting clinical workflow, ensuring documentation compliance, assisting providers, and contributing to the organization’s growth and patient engagement initiatives. The position collaborates closely with providers, medical assistants, and administrative staff to maintain a high-quality patient experience and efficient clinical operations.


About the Role

Medical Assistant Leadership & Support
  • Provide leadership and guidance to Medical Assistants
  • Support daily clinical workflow and assist MAs when needed
  • Train and onboard new Medical Assistants
  • Ensure proper patient intake procedures are followed
  • Maintain consistent room preparation standards
  • Assist with clinical supply management
  • Serve as a point of contact for MA questions during the day
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
Clinical Quality Assurance
  • Monitor provider documentation completion
  • Track incomplete or unsigned clinical notes
  • Ensure notes are completed within required timeframes
  • Review charts for missing documentation
  • Coordinate with providers and billing staff when corrections are required
  • Support clinical quality improvement initiatives and compliance processes
Provider Support
  • Prepare charts for upcoming visits
  • Verify that labs, imaging, and referrals are available
  • Track follow-ups for patient care tasks
  • Ensure documentation is completed before billing
  • Support providers in maintaining efficient workflows
Clinical Program Coordination
  • Support preventive care initiatives
  • Track patient lists for care programs
  • Coordinate follow-ups and patient outreach
  • Monitor participation in clinical programs
  • Maintain program documentation requirements
Community Outreach & Public Relations
  • Assist with outreach to referral sources
  • Build relationships with community partners
  • Support community events and educational initiatives
  • Track referral sources and outreach opportunities
  • Assist with patient engagement activities
Marketing Support
  • Assist with social media coordination
  • Help collect patient testimonials
  • Support marketing campaigns and patient education efforts
  • Assist with promotional or community events
  • Support patient engagement initiatives
Process Improvement & Projects
  • Identify workflow improvement opportunities
  • Assist with clinical protocol development
  • Participate in implementing new processes
  • Support operational projects assigned by leadership
Required Qualifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant (or equivalent clinical experience)
  • Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflow and patient intake procedures
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with clinical and administrative teams
  • Comfortable learning new systems and workflows
  • Professional attitude and commitment to quality patient care
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership or training experience
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
  • Interest in healthcare operations or quality improvement
  • Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
