Horizon Scientific Inc. is seeking dependable Production Technicians to support operations in a clean, organized manufacturing facility in Summerville, SC. This role is responsible for assisting with the production and assembly of manufactured products, monitoring quality, and helping maintain efficient workflow throughout the facility. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, following detailed instructions, and supporting production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and prepare products according to work instructions and production standards
• Operate basic production equipment, hand tools, and other assigned tools as needed
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
• Follow written work instructions, safety requirements, and standard operating procedures
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and movement of materials within the facility
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Report defective materials, process issues, or equipment concerns to leadership
• Support daily production schedules and meet output expectations
• Work overtime as needed to support business and customer demands

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment
• Strong attention to quality and consistency
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Good attendance and dependability are required
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Must be willing to work overtime, including possible weekends, as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motion
• Ability to lift up to 35–50 pounds as needed
• Ability to safely work around production equipment and moving materials

Work Environment

• Clean, team-oriented manufacturing facility in Summerville
• Fast-paced production setting with a focus on quality and efficiency
• Exposure to manufacturing equipment, noise, and repetitive tasks
• PPE required as assigned
• May involve assembly, inspection, packaging, and general production support duties
