Job Description
CTG is seeking to fill an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Application Architect position for our client.
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Design, develop, and implement Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions, including AEM Sites, DAM, Forms, Guides, Franklin/Edge, and AEM DevOps.
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable AEM application architectures.
Develop and customize AEM components, editable templates, content fragments, workflows, authoring features, and integrations.
Develop and troubleshoot custom AEM applications using Java, Apache Sling, OSGi, JCR, and HTL.
Design responsive web experiences using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and integrate AEM with REST APIs.
Perform unit and integration testing and support automated testing practices.
Support AEM deployment and development processes using Maven and Git.
Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and provide ongoing technical support.
Collaborate with business, development, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills:
Hands-on AEM Sites development, including component development, editable templates, content fragments, workflows, and authoring.
Strong Java, Apache Sling, OSGi, JCR, and HTL skills.
Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
Experience integrating AEM with REST APIs.
Experience with Maven, Git, automated testing, performance optimization, and production support.
Strong understanding of web development, content management systems, and digital experience platforms.
Banking and Cards domain knowledge is a plus.
Experience:
Proven experience designing and developing enterprise AEM solutions.
Experience building and integrating AEM-based websites, applications, digital forms, and user interfaces.
Experience troubleshooting AEM applications and supporting production environments.
Experience working across the full software development lifecycle.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75.00 to $85.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
